This 5 day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, install, configure and administer Microsoft Windows 2000 directory services in an enterprise network. The course also focuses on implementing Group Policy and performing the Group Policy related tasks that are required to centrally manage users and computers

Upon completion of the Managing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services Administration and Design course, the delegate will be able to:

• Create and manage trees and forests in a Windows 2000 network, and administer forestwide resources.
• Manage Active Directory replication within a site and between sites.

• Manage and restore the Active Directory database.
• Plan for the design of an Active Directory structure that combines administrative, replication and naming requirements of an organization
